Still getting stutter after downloading no stutter mod

I know it's probably a bit late for a new comment, but oh my goodness. Thank you so much. I've always had issues with mouse movement sometimes stuttering. This completely fixed the issue I've been having. Mouse movement is instant, no smoothing or anything which is just what I want. I've gotta try this with the other bethesda games.

You're a real one for this, OP. I actually read that this was the solution ages ago for the stuttering, but reformatted my PC a while ago and couldn't remember what the appropriate number was until I stumbled onto this thread.

I don't know why capping it to 64fps to fix stuttering isn't more common knowledge or more easily searchable. I love you, thank you so much. How do I disable vsync and limit framerate?

I should also note that when standing completely still in-game, everything seems to be running fine. No evident lag in NPCs movement or other environmental movement. It's only evident when I look around with my character.

I've tried setting the mouse acceleration to 0 and that didn't help. WHat resolution are you running? No mods or highrestexture. It may be my monitor has something to do with this.

The weird stutter and tearing was still there. Last edited by Pugzz ; 16 Mar, am. Some weird crap going on with this game! I keep getting rid of mods, just downloaded Nvidia Beta drivers, and used their optimization 'Geforce experience'. Hope I can stop it stuttering and CTD! There's loads of optimization possibilities online. Are you trying Beta version? If I can't fix it, I'll remove, and start again!!!

I too have massive stutering issues when using the default Ultra settings. The problem is specifically shadows on Ultra, they stress the CPU and cause intense micro stutter. Then, go into your SKyrimPrefs. Last edited by SupernastyPants ; 16 Mar, pm. I'll give that a shot, but I'm not sure it'll work. There is still evident stutter running medium settings. Here is my SkyrimPrefs. What should I tweak and to what numbers? There was definitely improvement, but stutter was still there.

Should I try capping my frames per second? How do I go about doing that? Also, to rule out my monitor, how can I change my Vsync settings? I've read that since my monitor situation isn't the best, that might help. Tweaked my ShadowMapResolutionPrimary to Improvemant again, but stutter is still there. Couple more tweaks and I should be good.
